The department offers a comprehensive portfolio of musculo-skeletal services to the local community, Germany and beyond. Our department offers highly specialized surgical and conservative treatment in different subspecialties of orthopaedics, including arthroplasty, oncology, trauma, hand, spine, foot, ankle and pediatric surgery. Overall the primary infection and complication rate of our procedures is very low. The Orthopaedic Department provides an opportunity to gain a well rounded education for physicians.

The Lubinus Clinicum is a privately owned hospital specializing in orthopaedic surgery which a worldwide reputation for the development of endoprothesis (founded in 1895) and spine instrumentations. The modern surgery and orthopaedic centre is equipped with an intensive care unit and fully standard radiology department and also an out patients' department.

In our Clinic for Orthopaedics and Traumatology under direction of Dr. Josef Schmitt we treat patients with diseases of the complete orthopaedic range. At the Munich Orthozentrum, orthopaedic diseases of all degrees are treated. In addition to acute care we also provide outpatient rehabilitation and preventive measures.
