Four decades and three years ago, a group of devoted orthopaedic surgeons brought forth a new publication, dedicated to the goal of promoting scientific research for the Western Pacific region.
Now being the official publication of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association, the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery has grown to a four-monthly journal, thanks not only to the increased quality and submission of manuscripts, but to the keen support by all of you--authors, reviewers and readers.
We shall continue the great task of providing a forum for academics, physicians, and trainees to exchange the latest discoveries and advances of orthopaedic surgery, while aiming at expanding the Journal's scope to a truly global readership with original articles received from and peer-reviewed by the scholarly pursuers of the world.
The Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery is published by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Press on behalf of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association.
