Janet Foster graduated in Physiotherapy from St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, England in 1965. Janet spent six years practicing physiotherapy in British hospitals; a small country hospital, one which specialized in orthopedics with teaching facilities and a large London hospital where she did clinical teaching. After three years at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, Janet opened the Alden Clinic of Physiotherapy in 1974. This thriving clinic is now situated in a renovated heritage house in central Nanaimo.
